The Mass the Law Allowed: sources and their terms

The code in this directory (engine.js, render.js, figures.js, page.js) and the page are the
Artificial Wasteland's own work. The data files transcribe and derive from the sources below. Every
source is a work published in the United States before 1931, and so is in the public domain in the
United States; the statement each archive makes about it is quoted.

1. City of New York, Board of Estimate and Apportionment. Building Zone Resolution (Adopted July 25,

A later compilation carrying 1917 amendment notes. NYC.gov's Terms of Use reserve rights in the text
and materials it posts, so none of its bytes are shipped here. It was compared word by word with the
transcription of sections 8 and 9, and the three differences found (all in its text layer, none in a
number) are listed in routes.json.

No photograph, no modern drawing and no NYC.gov presentation is reproduced. The drawings on the page
are generated in the browser from the numbers above.
