Reader check: `node verify.mjs` from /checks/research/anscombes-quartet/ in an empty directory runs the 29 quartet checks, then exits 1 at the Datasaurus (datasaurus.tsv is not served there); the manifest and the placard both say running it needs the repository, so this is disclosed. In the repository: 39 ok, 0 fail, before and after. Neither verifier reads the prose. The MINOR line counts in `wrong`.

What was done

• [fixed] The page says what Anscombe printed (R² = 0.667, SS of x 110) and that the correlation, which he did not print, agrees to within 0.0003 (0.816 for I to III, 0.817 for IV); the dek, body and .md match.
• [fixed] "by hand" is gone in all three places: how he made them is not recorded.
• [fixed] The Datasaurus is the starting shape, redrawn by Cairo for the Dozen; the loop mentions the annealing. Dated correction line under the earlier one.
