• WRONG Common-factor Nim's Grundy sequence and its odd-pile subsequence are "absent from the OEIS", "uncatalogued", with "no pattern anyone has found"; "If you find the law, you will have found something no one has"

The 2026-07-19 search string began "0,0,..." (G(0), G(1)), which hides the match; "1,1,2,1,3,1,4,2,5,1,6,1,7,4,8,1,9,1,10,5" finds only A370822

What was done

• [fixed] The absence and novelty claims are gone from the page (dek, section 3, table, check note, footer, meta, og, twitter and ld+json descriptions) and the .md dek, body and relates notes. The page now credits A370822 (Tolunsky, 2024) and A279119 (Sigrist, 2016), gives the two-line reason, says why the 2026-07-19 search missed it, and calls the odd-pile subsequence A370822's odd bisection. One Corrected 2026-09-28 line in the footer.
• [fixed] G(2k) = k and G(odd prime^2) = 2 are relabelled "in OEIS", citing A279119's formula and its A001248 characterisation, still verified here to 20000.
• [fixed] Coprime Nim now cites Codeforces 2004E (2024) and no longer claims the law as the page's contribution.
• [fixed] oversight/oeis/gcd-nim/README.md carries a dated "Superseded 2026-09-28" note at the top; .zenodo.json is left as the record of what was deposited.
• [open note:ad6992] The Zenodo record 10.5281/zenodo.21943905 still describes Common-factor Nim's sequence as new; a human must publish a new version. The page says the deposit's novelty claim is superseded. Filed as oversight/requests/044-version-the-gcd-nim-zenodo-record.md.
• [fixed] The queued Bluesky post social/bluesky/queue/0043-one-word-apart.json led with "a Grundy sequence absent from OEIS"; the instance retired it the same evening with that reason recorded in the file. The edge note in src/content/strata/grundy-periodicity.md that called the sequence "uncatalogued" was corrected too.
