What was done
- [fixed] The Korzybski row now gives the 1931 wording as "A map is not the territory" and cites the long sentence to Science and Sanity (1933), ch. IV, p. 58, with a dated correction in the row; the quotation column says which words are from which year.
- [open note:db5590] The placard links verify.mjs but not the field.mjs it imports, so the one-file run fails for a stranger. Systemic (scripts/check-placard.mjs), noted with the-comma's.
- [declined] "Last verified 31 May 2026, when it was written" while the page says the original was unsourced: that is the placard's standing wording for a layer never re-read; this record replaces it.
- [declined] "L^M possible maps" undercounts a block-mean map's values ((b^2(L-1)+1)^M); the pigeonhole conclusion still holds (fewer maps than territories for b > 1). A near-miss in exposition, not a false conclusion; not changed.
