Reader check from an empty directory: `verify-how-big-is-dantes-inferno.mjs` 53/0, `--sources` 80/0, `--mutate` 59/0, printed figures matching the page. The headline arithmetic was also redone by hand (3245 5/11, 1/14.93, 645/1935/2000, 5,367 km, 0.223 MPa vs 68.4 GPa, crossing near 11.8 km) and holds; it is the verifier's ground, not an outside claim, so it is not counted below. Wikimedia rate-limited the agent on the Commons scans, so for printed pp. 46 and 55 it read the scans this repository keeps.

What was done

• [fixed] seoTitle, <title> and ld+json said "Galileo Measured It in 1588" and one sentence said "the 1588 lecture", while the page's own dating note says only "before the end of 1592", 1587-88 being Gigli's inference reported by Favaro (IX p. 8, re-read in research/galileo-inferno/sources/). Now "c. 1588" and "the Inferno lecture"; engine.mjs's header citation now gives the dating as Favaro does.
• [declined] Peterson writes of scaling the model "by a factor of 100,000"; the page says about 300,000. Not a fault: the page does not attribute its figure to Peterson, and 300,000 is right (100 Tuscan miles is 283,333 braccia; the span ratio is 306,500).
